Cape Town - SuperSport United striker Kingston Nkhatha hopes to bring the success he had with coach Stuart Baxter at Kaizer Chiefs to Matsatsantsa.

The Zimbabwean striker joined the Tshwane club in January 2015 from Chiefs, while Baxter replaced Gordon Igesund at the helm last month.

However, Matsatsantsa will have low expectations of silverware this season after their struggles for form, which ultimately led to the departure of Igesund.

Nkhatha and Baxter will face their former team, Amakhosi, in the league at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.

"It was obviously great news upon hearing the news that coach Baxter is coming back to South Africa to join SuperSport United in the coaching department. My relationship with the coach comes a long way; we worked harmoniously at Chiefs until we went separate ways," Nkhatha told KickOff

"The coach had a successful stay at Chiefs. Also, he had good players who brought positive results to the team because of teamwork.

"Chiefs are one of the biggest clubs in the world and that alone kept us going. I enjoyed my days at Chiefs working under coach Baxter, I can tell you that.

"We have renewed the relationship at United and things are shaping up after the coach's first few matches in charge despite dropping some points in the process.

"We are facing league contenders with good players and this is going to be a tough one. However, one thing in our minds is that we are going there to settle the score."
