Cape Town - Orlando Pirates interim coach Augusto Palacios has admitted that Baroka goalkeeper Masuluke Oscarine's equaliser against his side was a special strike.

The 23-year-old produced a sublime bicycle kick with virtually the last touch of the game to earn Bakgaga a 1-1 draw against the Sea Robbers in Wednesday's Premiership encounter in Polokwane.

The keeper had pushed forward as Baroka desperately threw numbers into attack as they chased a levelling goal deep into injury time. However, not many expected Oscarine to produce the moment of magnificence he did.

After the match, Palacios was gracious in his assessment of the goal. He told reporters, "This was a special goal - part of the beautiful game and this happens sometimes. It's part of the beautiful game."

Pirates next face Highlands Park in a league encounter at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
