Cape Town - Kostadin Papic has denied speculation linking him with a move to Bloemfontein Celtic, claiming the reports are nothing more than 'rumours'.

The former Polokwane City head coach resigned from National First Division outfit Black Leopards this week and it wasn't long before links with struggling Celtic surfaced in the local media.

Papic admits he is missing being in the technical area, but insists he has not been contacted by any clubs.

"I have not been contacted by any club as yet and I'm sitting at home, it's not nice," the Serbian told African Football.

"To be honest, I've not been approached by anyone and this is just a rumour and I'm not used to stay at home. But it's life and of course I miss being in the technical area but we will see."

Papic is no stranger to South African football, having managed Orlando Pirates, Maritzburg United, Kaizer Chiefs, Chippa United, Polokwane City and most recently Black Leopards since arriving in the country in 2004.
