Pieterse wants positive results

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse admitted his growing frustrations with the lack of positive results in the Premiership.

Chiefs registered their eighth draw in the league after the 1-1 stalemate in the derby against Orlando Pirates on Saturday.

With a record of one win, two draws and a loss in 2016, Amakhosi will be looking for their second win of the year against Golden Arrows at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Tuesday.

After 26 points from 16 games, Chiefs need to turn the corner soon before the 10 point gap with league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns grows larger. 

"We are not getting the expected results. It is tough at the moment, but we will bounce back," Pieterse told KickOff.

"We are a big club and nothing but a win is expected whenever we take the field. It doesn't matter who the opponent is, our focus is always on our game plan. We respect Arrows, they have proven to be difficult at times but we are ready.

"We are the defending champions and there is still a long way to go before the league title will be decided. However, for sure, we are well aware that we have to start collecting the maximum points."
