Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane was not too complacent in his sides 2-1 defeat against Polokwane City.

Former Brazilian forward Rodney Ramagelela was on the score sheet as his brace was enough to secure maximum points against the Premiership giants.

Sundowns had to play without their star frontman Khama Billiat and hope Thokozani Sekotlong could deliver the goods.

Sekotlong was not putting the ball behind the net after squandered several chances in front of goal.

“You get punished, you have to take your chances,” Mosimane said in his post-match interview with SuperSport TV.

“But we need to congratulate Polokwane City and the coach (Bernard Molekwa), they did very well.

“They fought for it, they played well on the break, I think Rama G (Ramagalela) had the game of his life but it’s always the case with our former players, they show that ’you shouldn’t have let me go’.

“What a fantastic strike he scored, the second one, I don’t think he’ll score (a goal like that) again.”
