PSL confirms dates for BACK-TO-BACK Soweto Derby fixtures in MTN8 semi-finals

Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are set to clash in consecutive weekend fixtures in the MTN8 semi-finals after the Premier Soccer League (PSL) on Monday confirmed the competition's dates and venues.

The first leg of the MTN8 semi-finals is scheduled for this coming weekend, 31 October and 1 November 2020. The second leg will be the following weekend on 7 and 8 November.

Bloemfontein Celtic and SuperSport United will contest the corresponding semi-final.

First Leg:

On Saturday, Orlando Pirates host Kaizer Chiefs in the first of two Soweto derby encounters at Orlando Stadium.

On Sunday afternoon, defending champions SuperSport United and Bloemfontein Celtic will face off at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Second leg:

On Saturday, Bloemfontein Celtic host SuperSport United at Dr Molemela Stadium in Mangaung with the second Soweto derby taking lace a day later at FNB Stadium for a place in the 2020/21 MTN8 final.

In line with Covid-19 regulations, all four matches will be played behind closed doors. They will be broadcast live on television.

Kick-off for all matches will be at 15:00.
