Cape Town - A date was set for the Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee to sit next week regarding the matter of Ajax Cape Town forward Tendai Ndoro.

The Urban Warriors signed the Zimbabwean forward during the final days of the January transfer window.

The veteran forward started the 2017/18 season plying his trade at Orlando Pirates before joining Al Faisaly in Saudi Arabia's Professional League.

According to the FIFA rules you can only register for three clubs during a single season.

However, the individual can only play for two sides.

The PSL cleared Ndoro to play after the Buccaneers' dispute over his eligibility.

Ndoro has already featured in two fixtures for the Ikamva outfit - against former club Pirates and Polokwane City.

The statement read:

The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee will sit next week, on 15 February 2018 for the two Protests by Polokwane City FC and Orlando Pirates FC against Ajax Cape Town FC.

The two clubs lodged protests ahead of their Absa Premiership fixtures against Ajax Cape Town for fielding of Mr Tendai Ndoro.

Ajax Cape Town played Mr Ndoro against Orlando Pirates on 31 January and against Polokwane City on 04 February 2018.

The PSL DC will also hear the matter against Mr Jonathan Schloss and Bidvest Wits.

Mr Schloss and Bidvest Wits were charged with misconduct pursuant to the fixture between Bidvest Wits and Kaizer Chiefs which took place on 16 September 2017.
