Johannesburg - Three South African clubs will begin their quest to conquer the continent when the group stages of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup start at the weekend.

Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United and Platinum Stars will fortunately start their campaigns at home.

Defending Champions League kings Sundowns will start their defence against unknown Ethiopian side St George on Saturday afternoon.
