The Senegal international has made just one start for Bucs after seemingly falling out of favour under coach Muhsin Ertugral.

In the one start he made, the 29-year-old was substituted at half-time during the recent 0-0 league draw with Cape Town City.

Ertugral even admitted after the contest that he took the player off in order to try and give his side more attacking impetus.

Sarr's fall from grace has come as something of a surprise in that he has been a first-team regular in recent seasons - in 2015/16 the midfielder made 25 league appearances.

Nonetheless, Dennis Idrissa, the agent who represents the player, has revealed the Senegalese is unhappy with his current situation.

He told the Sowetan: "He has played for 45 minutes only and of course, he is not happy about that.

"However, he is a professional, he respects this decision and certainly he will not challenge the coach's tactical moves."

Sarr is in the last year of his current deal with Pirates and could sign a pre-contract agreement with another side in January if the Buccaneers decide not to offer him a new contract.
