Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns have reportedly agreed a deal with SuperSport United that will see star striker Jeremy Brockie leave Matsatsantsa for the Brazilians - with Mogakolodi Ngele a part of the deal.

Soccer Laduma report that a deal for the 30-year-old New Zealand international is close to being completed after a protracted transfer saga.

According sources, Mogakolodi Ngele will go on loan to SuperSport as a part of the agreement that would add up to of R12 million which is set to be enough to clinch the attacker's signature.

Brockie is regarded as the Premiership's deadliest and most consistent striker having hit over 50 goals in all competitions since his arrival at Matsatsantsa in 2015.

The Christchurch-born star has also been linked with a move to Orlando Pirates, but appears to have preferred to join Pitso Mosimane's squad in the January transfer window.

Sundowns who sit atop the Absa Premiership standings take on Orlando Pirates in a league encounter at Loftus Versveld Stadium on Saturday.

Kick off is at 15:30.
