Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns forward Percy Tau admits that winning the Premiership title back from Wits in the upcoming season is a priority.

Pitso Mosimane's charges were outdone by the Clever Boys as Gavin Hunt guided Wits to their first league title in top flight football.

“The coach has developed a culture of winning. We are also going to go for the league,” Tau said as quoted by KickOff website.

“We understand there will be challenges, but if we set a goal, it should be the league title."

The Brazilians remain in contention to defend their CAF Champions League title which they won against Egyptian giants Zamalek last year.

Sundowns have already advanced to quarter-final stage in this years edition and are set to face Wydad Casablanca.

"We need to defend the Champions League title as well and get to the Club World Cup again," Tau continued.

"Playing at the Club World Cup was a dream come true and it would be great to play in it again.

"If we get another chance to play there again, we will do well.”
