Dobsonville - Following their Nedbank Cup exit, Moroka Swallows veteran midfielder Josta Dladla believes that luck was just not on their side against SuperSport United.

The Dube Birds miseries continued as they suffered a 1-0 loss to United in their Nedbank Cup Last-32 encounter at Dobsonville Stadium.

"We were just unlucky tonight (Tuesday) and the guys really tried their best and we gave it our all," said the former Kaizer Chiefs player.

"We just conceded a silly goal which took a slight deflection and our goalkeeper saw it very late.

"There was nothing he could have done but what can we do?. "

The Soweto giants are still rooted at the bottom of the National First Division (NFD), with only nine games remaining and the winger hinted that their Cup exit was a blessing in disguise.

"We still have nine games to go in the NFD and we now have to focus on that."

"Because we really have to save our team from being relegated again.

"We still have the belief that we can still avoid relegation and maybe fight for a PSL return next season.
