Supersport United head coach Kaitano Tembo rued the fact that his team conceded a vital away goal in the first-leg but believes the MTN8 semifinal tie against Mamelodi Sundowns is still wide open.

Thamsanqa Gabuza gave Matsatsantsa the lead in the 41st minute but Gaston Sirino equalised just two minutes later, something that disappointed Tembo as it came just before the halftime break.

The Zimbabwean mentor told SuperSport TV: "We had chances to win the game, first half we dominated.

"I was a little bit disappointed with the goal we conceded, because critical phases of the game, soon after scoring, we conceded.

"The critical phases of the game, where we're supposed to be focused, we went to sleep there and they got an equaliser.

"But other than that, I think we played a good game today. We created chances to win the game but there's still another 90 minutes, it's not over yet."

The second leg of the tie will take place at the same at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on September 18.
