Pretoria - Despite supporters calling for his head, Orlando Pirates head coach Eric Tinkler has no intentions of leaving the club.

Tinkler addressed reporters following Pirates' 2-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Sunday.

The coach said he was not feeling any pressure from the Buccaneers management.

"I haven't had any meeting with the chairman (Irvin Khoza) or the management team with regards to that," said Tinkler.

"I only have normal meetings with the technical team as we usually do.

"Being sacked as a coach is normal in football when the results are not coming in and big teams like Pirates are always expected to win.

"As a coach I have to always be positive and I can't live in fear of being sacked because one way or the other it'll happen some day.

"Tomorrow (Monday) we are going to resume training as normal and nothing changes."

Pirates will look to revive themselves when they face Platinum Stars on January 9.
