TS Galaxy have responded to rumours that Eric Tinkler is being lined up to take the vacant managerial hot seat at the DStv Premiership club.
Galaxy dispensed with Dan Malesela after a poor start to the season. They are languishing in 12th place on the standings, with just one win from eight games.
Tinkler was left without a job last month after he was sacked by Maritzburg United as they started the season with four defeats.
Zipho Dlangalala has been appointed interim coach at Galaxy, with club media officer Minenhle Mkhize denying any contact with Tinkler.
Speaking to KickOff, Mkhize said: "As the statement stated, the club has appointed Coach Dlangalala to take over as interim coach, we believe in him and he will get every support he deserves to change things at the club.
"The club hasn't spoken with any other coach, so we don't know anything about Tinkler. Our focus as the chairman stated in the statement is to give support to Coach Zipho.
"We would also like to thank Coach Dan Dance for everything. He will always be special to the team for what he has achieved."
