Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila defeated Baroka FC 1-0 in their DStv Premiership clash at Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday.
Second-half substitute Justin Shonga scored the only goal of the game in the fourth and last minute of injury time at the end of this encounter.
TTM earlier had the ball in the back of the net early in the first half through a superb Thabo Rakhale volley, but the goal was incorrectly ruled out for offside.
Rhulani Manzini then smashed a penalty well over its intended target, also in the first, in a game that looked to be heading for a goalless draw.
Evidence Makgopa was first with a chance as he dispossessed Meshack Maphangule on the edge of the area before firing straight at TTM keeper Washington Arubi
Rakhale scored his sensational goal with just seven minutes on the clock, as the ball dropped to him from a headed knockdown after a sweeping move forward and excellent ball into the box from right-back Nicholus Lukhubeni, only for the goal to be ruled out.
Rakhale was almost in again, after a neat give-and-go with Maphangule but the final pass was ultimately too hard, with the Baroka attacker only able to get a toe poke to the ball, allowing Oscarine Masuluke to make the save.
Jemondre Dickens was next with a chance as he fired just past the right hand post with a snapshot following a cut back from the right flank from Thamsanqa Masiya. TTM were awarded a penalty on 33 minutes after Masuluke tripped up Lerato Lamola but Manzini could not find the target.
Rakhale then should have handed TMM the lead right at the end of the first half but first he took one too many touches when through inside the box to allow Masuluke to clear - before firing straight at the Baroka keeper from the edge of the area.
It was all TTM in the opening stages after the break, with Lamola and Rakhale continuing to give the Baroka defence a hard time
Masuluke was forced into a super reaction save from a powerful shot from Manzini from inside the box at the start of the second half.
Manzini should have smashed home on the hour mark but he opted to place his shot, which was easily blocked by the Baroka defence while the same player was again in the action moments later and this time forced a superb save from Masuluke from close range.
Both sides continued to look for a winner as the game wore on, with Masuluke remaining the busier of the two shot stoppers.
Clear cut chances were few and far between as the tie drew to a close, leaving TTM so nearly lamenting two dropped points, only for Shonga to pop up inside the box late on to sweep the ball home.
