TTM continued their push away from the relegation zone with a 1-0 win over Stellenbosch FC at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.
It was the Limpopo outfit's second consecutive league victory, and third overall, after their success against Maritzburg United away last week, with TTM now six points above the drop zone.
Vhadau Vha Damani took the lead on the half-hour mark through Thembisani Nevhulamba, who was making a rare start this season as new coach Dylan Kerr stamped his authority on the side.
The visitors threw on more forwards in the second half in search of the equaliser and a chance came but Ashley Du Preez, through on goal, was denied by home goalkeeper Washington Arubi.
Arubi was the man of moment for his side in the closing stages as he pulled off some good saves as TTM battled hard for all three points.
Ultimately, TTM emerged winners by the odd goal as they remained 14th on the standings, but they are now level points with 13th-placed Stellenbosch.
