With live soccer in short supply due to the coronavirus epidemic, soccer players and fans around the world are posting their "keepy uppy" efforts using a roll of toilet paper instead of a soccer ball.

John Comitis, chairperson of Cape Town City is the latest to do so and shows his skill by nailing the challenge while sporting an injured left hand.

The club, clearly impressed by Comitis' effort, took to Twitter to brag about his achievement and challenging all other chairmen from Absa Premiership teams around the country to post their attempts.

"Our Chairman has killed the #ToiletRollChallenge. He challenges all other chairmen from every @OfficialPSLclub #Stayhomechallenge #iamCityFC," tweeted City.

Soccer players from across the globe have posted videos on social media of their attempts including Barcelona's Lionel Messi, Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes and locally, Itumeleng Khune of Kaizer Chiefs.
