Chippa United claimed a massive boost for their survival hopes with a 1-0 smash-and-grab victory over Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium on Wednesday.
The Chilli Boys have now opened up a seven-point lead over bottom-of-the-table Black Leopards.
Chiefs remain in eighth place.
TTM 1-0 Bloemfontein Celtic
Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila bolstered their DStv Premiership survival chances on Wednesday afternoon as they ground out a 1-0 victory over Bloemfontein Celtic.
A Joseph Malongoane in the second half was the difference between the two sides.
The win saw the PSL newcomers maintain a one-point lead over 15th-placed Chippa United, who shocked Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 at FNB Stadium, while Celtic are 11th.
Baroka FC 0-1 TS Galaxy
TS Galaxy boosted their hopes of finishing in the top-eight of the DStv Premiership standings with a 1-0 victory over Baroka at the Peter Mokaba stadium.
Ebrahim Seedat scored the only goal of the game in the 73rd minute and the win sees Galaxy move above Baroka and Kaizer Chiefs on the table.
The victory for the Rockets also saw them snap a three-game losing streak with their last win before this coming against Black Leopards last month.
Cape Town City 1-5 AmaZulu - MATCH REPORT
AmaZulu have thrashed Cape Town City 5-1 to put further pressure on a stuttering Mamelodi Sundowns in the DSTV Premiership.
They are now just one point behind the log leaders who have two games in hand.
Goal from Augustine Mulenga, Tapelo Xoki, Lehlohonolo Majoro, Luvuyo Memela and Siyathemaba Sithebe helped AmaZulu to their emphatic win.
Fagrie Lackay scored a consolation goal for City.
