It was a tail of two headed goals as Swallows and SuperSport United played to a 1-1 draw in their DStv Premiership clash at the Dobsonville stadium on Tuesday.Fawaaz Basadien gave the Beautiful Birds the lead late in the first half but Sipho Mbule found the equaliser for Matsatsantsa in the 78th minute.


Kaizer Chiefs 0-1 Chippa United - MATCH REPORT

Chippa United claimed a massive boost for their survival hopes with a 1-0 smash-and-grab victory over Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium on Wednesday.

The Chilli Boys have now opened up a seven-point lead over bottom-of-the-table Black Leopards.

Chiefs remain in eighth place. 

TTM 1-0 Bloemfontein Celtic  

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila bolstered their DStv Premiership survival chances on Wednesday afternoon as they ground out a 1-0 victory over Bloemfontein Celtic.

A Joseph Malongoane in the second half was the difference between the two sides.

The win saw the PSL newcomers maintain a one-point lead over 15th-placed Chippa United, who shocked Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 at FNB Stadium, while Celtic are 11th.

Baroka FC 0-1 TS Galaxy  

TS Galaxy boosted their hopes of finishing in the top-eight of the DStv Premiership standings with a 1-0 victory over Baroka at the Peter Mokaba stadium.

Ebrahim Seedat scored the only goal of the game in the 73rd minute and the win sees Galaxy move above Baroka and Kaizer Chiefs on the table.

The victory for the Rockets also saw them snap a three-game losing streak with their last win before this coming against Black Leopards last month.

Cape Town City 1-5 AmaZulu - MATCH REPORT

AmaZulu have thrashed Cape Town City 5-1 to put further pressure on a stuttering Mamelodi Sundowns in the DSTV Premiership.

They are now just one point behind the log leaders who have two games in hand.

Goal from Augustine Mulenga, Tapelo Xoki, Lehlohonolo Majoro, Luvuyo Memela and Siyathemaba Sithebe helped AmaZulu to their emphatic win.

Fagrie Lackay scored a consolation goal for City.

Mamelodi Sundowns 0-0 Golden Arrows - MATCH REPORT

Mamelodi Sundowns' goalless draw against Golden Arrows at Loftus Versfeld may cause them more problems than they need, especially with AmaZulu breathing down their necks.

With AmaZulu dishing out a 5-1 beating to Cape Town City away, Benni McCarthy's side have narrowed the gap to just one point in the DSTV Premiership standings. AmaZulu have 47 points from 25 games while Sundowns have 48 from 23 matches. 

AmaZulu's goal avalanche ensured they are now the league's top scorers with 36 goals while Sundowns could not add to their tally of 35.

Sundowns still have two games in hand, but one of them is in the form of Orlando Pirates away on Sunday.
