Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bongani Zungu has revealed that his fractured shin will keep him out of action for six weeks.

Zungu suffered the injury after a collision with Philani Zulu in the 3-2 victory over Maritzburg United on Saturday.

The 23-year-old is leaving Sundowns at the end of the season to join Vitoria de Guimaraes FC in Portugal after signing a pre-contract agreement.

"The injury is not that bad...I fractured my right shin and I will be out of action for four to six weeks," Zungu told KickOff.

"I'm not feeling any pain as I'm talking to you and I'm sure by March I will be in action.

"My focus right now is Sundowns. Fortunately we have enough quality in the team and I won't be missed.

"The players will do their best to finish the season strongly and our supporters will rally behind the team."
