Pretoria - Outgoing Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bongani Zungu insisted that he will stay with the Brazilians until the end of the 2015/16 campaign and help them clinch their 7th Absa Premiership title.

The former University of Pretoria industrious player has completed his move to the Portuguese based outfit, Victoria de Guimaraes, this week on a two year deal that will run from July 1.

'Ben 10' said that his main ambition is to win the league for the second time with the Chloorkop based side and also want to return the favour to coach Pitso Mosimane for having faith in him since he joined Sundowns three years ago.

“Yes I’m still playing for Sundowns and I will be here until the end of the season," insisted Zungu.

“I told everyone and the coach that I would like to remain at the club because I really want to win the league again with Sundowns.

“I have been there for three years and everything has been awesome and the fans have been amazing as well.

“Pitso (Mosimane) has been a father figure to me and nobody knows that that he came to Duduza to speak to me when I was still playing for Tuks.

“He asked me to come and join him at Sundowns and I’m really grateful for the faith he has shown to me.”
