Three suspects arrested for illegal sale of Soweto derby TKO tickets

Cape Town - Three people have been arrested in Durban on Tuesday, November 20 for an illegal sale of Telkom Knockout tickets for the semi-final fixture between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.

The match is scheduled for Saturday, November 24 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium (15:00).

Tickets for this fixture were sold out last week and therefore anyone selling tickets for this game is doing so illegally.

In the days leading up to the match, Police will be monitoring various places in and around KwaZulu-Natal to curb the illegal sale of tickets.

In the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals, six people were arrested. Four remain in custody.
