Cape Town - AmaZulu scored two quick second-half goals against Cape Town City to advance to the quarter-final of the Telkom Knockout Cup.

After a relatively tight first-half, Usuthu took the lead in the 63rd minute as a cross from Thembela Sikhakhane was met by Emiliano Tade, who made no mistake with putting the ball beyond the goalkeepers reach.

The KwaZulu-Natal side doubled their advantage, as a mix-up in the City penalty area saw Bongi Ntuli latch onto a loose ball and fire a low shot into bottom corner.

Usuthu's victory has seen them being drawn against Soweto giants Orlando Pirates for the quarter-final while Kaizer Chiefs host SuperSport United.

Baroka FC will entertain Pitso Mosimane's Mamelodi Sundowns with Wits taking on Maritzburg United.

The venues and dates will be confirmed at a later stage.

Meanwhile, Telkom Knockout final will be played at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday, December 8.
