Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic insists he is not the feeling pressure of Buccaneers being trophyless for four years.

Pirates' last major honour was the 2014 Nedbank Cup, although Sredojevic brought them close to winning the Premiership title last season, only to finish second to Mamelodi Sundowns.

After a significant improvement in the Serb's first year since rejoining the club, Bucs could be forgiven for being impatient to finally deliver silverware.

However, after the Soweto giants were drawn against Chippa United for the first round of the Telkom Knockout, 'Micho' denied feeling the pressure.

"First of all, the only pressure I feel in my life is the pressure from God," he was quoted as saying by TimesLIVE website.

"In every competition we are in, we are coming with the highest possible ambition to go all the way and win, and that is the identity of this great club that I'm blessed to be its head coach."

The 49-year-old understands that with the honour of coaching Pirates comes the responsibility of delivering results to satisfy the fans.

"I accept all the pressure on my shoulders," he added. "Let the legs of our players be unlocked, let their legs be freed to express themselves to get the performance that will get us result that we are looking for.

"Telkom Knockout, I would say it's either you knock out or they knock you. With that in mind, we have 16 quality teams, 16 dreams and one dream will come true."

The TKO encounter is scheduled to take place on the weekend of October 20/21 at Orlando Stadium.
