Cape Town - Anele Ngcongca feels Mamelodi Sundowns will have to dig deep when coming up against a Maritzburg United side that has nothing to lose in Sunday's Nedbank Cup semi-final clash.

Fadlu Davids' high-flying side will host Sundowns at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Ngcongca believes all the pressure will be on the Brazilians to maintain their impressive run, where they are unbeaten in their last ten games.

The experienced defender said his side must stay grounded and hungry to grind results in a bid to win a treble of the Nedbank Cup, the Premiership title as well as the CAF Champions League.

Ngcongca told SuperSport: "It is always difficult to play a team that has nothing to lose and will want to express themselves.

"Of course, they have got couple of players that can change the game like Siphesihle Ndlovu, Bandile Shandu and Lebohang Maboe.

"Those are the good players that they have. They also have the experience of Bevan Fransman, Siyanda Xulu in their side.

"So it’s a balanced team and they have done a good job this season.

"We have to stay grounded and do what we have been doing over the couple of weeks, which is winning. We have to stay hungry."

Kick-off is at 15:00.
