Bosnia won't target Messi

Cape Town - Bosnia and Herzegovina head coach Safet Susic says that his side will not look to man-mark Argentina ace Lionel Messi.

The Dragons will face Argentina in their opening World Cup encounter on Sunday, and keeping Messi quiet is one of the many tough tasks that they face.

While well aware of the threat that Messi poses, Susic insists that his troops will not resort to dedicating one man to constantly mark the Barcelona star.

The Bosnia head coach doesn't believe in man marking, not even if it's the world's best player and most prolific threat.

"We have (Muhamed) Besic but putting him only on Messi wouldn't be very good," commented Susic.

The South-Eastern European nation completed their World Cup warm-up fixtures with a 5-1 victory over a youth team from Brazilian club outfit Santos.

Bosnia will be hoping star striker Edin Dzeko will be on form to guide the Dragons out of Group F which also includes Iran and Nigeria.
