Scolari happy to take a point

Cape Town - Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari declared himself 'satisfied' with his side's showing against Mexico, despite failing to find a way through in Tuesday's goalless draw.

The two sides clashed at Estadio Castelao in the second round of Group A matches at the 2014 World Cup, although neither were able to take sole ownership at the top of the standings, with both sides now level on four points each.

Speaking after the game, Scolari told Sportv:  "I am satisfied. It was a good game, both teams showed they wanted the goal, showed quality, teamwork, physical strength. The 0-0 reflects well how the game was."

He continued: "Brazil have been playing the same way for the last 20 games, we showed quality, but the draw is not a good result.

"We're facing good teams, we have to remember that. We have to respect our opposition."

Brazil go up against Cameroon next Monday in their final Group A tie which they will have to get a positive result in order to advance to Round 16.
