After watching two finals from the Northern Hemisphere this weekend - Toulouse vs La Rochelle (Top 14 Final) and Harlequins vs Exeter (Premiership Final) - the contrast in styles adopted by the teams participating in both competitions was clear.

The Premiership final produced 11 tries, whereas the French final produced none.

My rugby philosophy has always been that good attack will beat any defence on the day, although I know I have been proved wrong in the past many times.
