The series is long gone now, but I find myself looking back at the three Tests between the Springboks and the British & Irish Lions and wondering how both teams would have approached the game with a few law changes.

For some time, I have been contemplating one such change that, if implemented, would make a huge difference.

What if the rule was changed so that, if you kick for touch from a penalty, you no longer received the throw-in at the lineout?
