In August of 2016, South Africa's Luvo Manyonga was on top of the world, having won a silver medal for his country at that year's Rio Olympics. 

It was the ultimate story of redemption for the long jumper.

The overwhelming sense of pride and achievement that accompanied Manyonga when he addressed media in the athletes' Olympic village the morning after his heroics at the Maracana Stadium was unmissable.
