The ongoing CSA T20 Challenge, hosted in a Kingsmead bubble, has been exactly the breath of fresh air that South African cricket needed. 

In no small part due to the Proteas being available for the competition because of the cancelled Australian Test tour, which was due to get underway this weekend, the overall product has been impressive. 

While the tournament has been a subtle reminder of the depth of talent and potential in the country, it has also been a stark reminder of what this game can be when all focus is solely on the field of play.
