Siya Kolisi's humility won't allow him to say it out loud, but the Springbok captain will enter the Sharks dressing room carrying a different kind of aura, with a halo over his head.

Having led the Springboks to the World Cup in Japan in 2019, Kolisi carries the gravitas Duane Vermeulen took to Loftus, when he signed for the Bulls (in 2018 ahead of) that year on his return to SA from French club Toulon.

SA Rugby, at the behest of director of rugby Rassie Erasmus, were desperate to have as many of their best players and influential voices in the country as possible the year before the Rugby World Cup.
