It’s by sheer luck that, after their recent spate of administrative misfiring, Western Province Rugby Union (WPRU) haven’t bled the bulk of their international and promising players to overseas clubs.  

Springbok captain Siya Kolisi choosing to take his talents to Durban, being so desperate to get out of his WP situation that he somehow wriggled out of the reported R1-million release clause, cast the union in bad light.
