Raynard van Tonder cannot exactly tell you where his nickname of "Razor" comes from.

When he started playing at senior level for the Free State, his teammates wanted to merely abbreviate his name to the more snappy "Ray".

But then they realised they had already attributed it to veteran all-rounder Romano Terblanche.
