A visceral clash between Central Gauteng Lions chief executive officer Jono Leaf-Wright and former vice-president Ebrahim Lambat was at the heart of five directors and Lambat resigning from the CGL board in the past four months.

In documents Sport24 has seen, it was revealed that the battle between Lambat and Leaf-Wright split the board apart.
