During his impassioned and well-defended testimony at Cricket South Africa's Social Justice and Nation-building hearings on Wednesday, former Proteas team manager and doctor Mohammed Moosajee made it clear that selection matters weren't part of his domain.

This will now leave the matter of explaining the controversial AB de Villiers/Khaya Zondo selection drama from the 2015/16 India tour to former convenor of selectors Linda Zondi.

Zondi wasn't the selector on tour at the time; that responsibility was left to Hussein Manack, who explained the matter thoroughly.
