It is likely to turn relatively few heads in South Africa.

Now also reportedly not even to be played at neutral, hallowed "home of cricket" Lord’s, the inaugural final of the ICC World Test Championship between India and New Zealand instead goes to the slightly less dripping-in-history Rose Bowl in Southampton, from 18-22 June.

Pandemic-related considerations have caused the shift, given the altogether more modern venue’s attached hotel and other facilities that make the creation of a bio-bubble (to whatever degree it may be necessary by then) rather easier.
