WI v Eng: Final moments in pictures

Cape Town - Sunday's ICC World Twenty20 final between England and the West Indies was about as dramatic as a cricket match can get.

In the end it was Carlos Brathwaite's heroics that set up a stunning victory for the Windies - his four successive sixes in the final over against Ben Stokes doing the business.

The moments in that final over and immediately after will be etched into the minds of cricket lovers for a long time to come.

As Brathwaite and the Windies celebrated, Stokes and England crumbled and the contrast in emotion was clear for all to see.

A picture, as they say, tells 1000 words and with the help of our friends at Getty Images, we handpicked 10 photographs from the final moments of the final that tell their owns stories.
