Both Dale Steyn and Chris Morris won't form part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad for the 2021 Indian Premier League.

Steyn had already indicated at the beginning of the month that he wouldn't be playing at the franchise in 2021 after playing a bit part in the 2020 tournament held late last year.

He featured in three matches and took just one wicket.

Morris played in nine matches during the tournament and took 11 wickets at an average of 19.09 and an economy rate of 6.63.

Morris also scored 34 runs at an average of 8.50 and a strike rate of 161.

Steyn and Morris are not the only high-profile players released by the franchise.

Australian one-day captain, Aaron Finch was cut from the playing roster along with England's Moeen Ali amongst others.
