Toss: Toss - South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first.
Proteas - Hashim Amla returns from injury, with Alviro Petersen dropped, while Rory Kleinveldt comes in for Ryan McLaren.
Over 1 SA 2/0 (Amla 2, de Kock 0) - Amla returns into the side and takes his position as the opener, de Kock joins him. Malinga starts with a ball pitch on good length, instead of a yorker. The pitch will get slower, so it will be good if South Africa can get to a good score. A couple of runs to end the over, Amla gets off the mark.
Over 2 SA 10/0 (Amla 2, de Kock 8) - Mathews starts from the over end, and strays on to de Kock's pads who angles it into the leg side and gets a boundary at deep square leg. Inside edges, de Kock tries to drive it and almost plays it on. de Kock drives it through midwicket, good shot and it goes for four. After 2 overs, SA 10 for no loss.
Wicket: Over 3 SA 17/1 (Amla 2) - Amla plays it on the up but does not get it past the man at cover. Amla plays a great straight drive, good balance and timing, four straight down the ground. Amla gets it through backward point and it almost reaches the ropes, Dilshan pulls it back just before the boundary and Amla gets three. A full toss from Malinga, de Kock blocks it. Another full toss and driven straight down the ground, Perera does well to stop a certain boundary. WICKET! Malinga misses the yorker twice and then gets it right and gets it through de Kock, bowled. The bat not coming down in time and the ball wins.

Over 4 SA 18/1 (Amla 10, Duminy 0) - JP Duminy comes out to bat, SA lose an early wicket again. Mathews finishes a quiet over, Amla gets a single and then Duminy plays it out.
Over 5 SA 30/1 (Amla 22, Duminy 0) - Amla pulls it, a short one from Malinga and it sits up and Amla pulls it to the square leg boundary. Another bouncer, this time quicker and beats Amla, Malinga shouts for caught behind but keep and umpire not interested. A straighter one from Malinga and Amla pushes it to mid on. A short ball again and Amla swivels and puts it away for another boundary, another good pull from the back foot. Amla drives it through the covers for four, another great shot, Malinga bowls it outside off and Amla dispatches it through the covers.
Over 6 SA 34/1 (Amla 22, Duminy 4) - Duminy gets into the action, blocks a couple, and then drives it through backward point for four. He uses the width given by Mathews provided. After 6 overs South Africa 34 for 1.
Over 7 SA 37/1 (Amla 24, Duminy 5) - Ajantha Mendis comes into the attack after Malinga was a bit expensive in the last over. Amla works him off his pads on the leg side for a single. Duminy takes a single down the ground. A chance of a run out but the ball does not hit the stumps and the batsmen are safe. Three singles from the over.
Over 8 SA 46/1 (Amla 25, Duminy 13) - Mathews continues and Duminy cuts him through the point region for four, some more width on offer and Duminy makes most of it. Another boundary, Duminy plays it through the same region for four, the diving point fielder can't stop that. 9 runs from the over.
50: Over 9 SA 53/1 (Amla 30, Duminy 15) - Amla hits it in the air, an inside out shot that goes between mid off and extra cover for four. A slightly risky shot but Amla plays it well. Then takes a single to rotate the strike. South Africa gets to 50. Duminy cuts, only to get an inside edge on it and Dilshan does well to stop the boundary, Duminy takes a couple. Seven from the over, Mendis causing a few problems for Duminy.
Over 10 SA 54/1 (Amla 31, Duminy 15) - Perera introduced into the attack, he will be looking to break this partnership. A shuffle across his stumps and Amla gets a single on the leg side. After 10 over SA are 54 for 1, with Amla and Duminy settling into a good partnership.
Over 11 SA 60/1 (Amla 35, Duminy 16) - Herath comes into the attack after the power play, replacing Mendis. Amla picks up a single on the leg side. Duminy comes down the wicket and gets a single down the ground. Chandimal fumbles in the field and South Africa get a couple of runs.
Over 12 SA 68/1 (Amla 41, Duminy 18) - Amla drives through extra cover, the half volley put away for four. Chandimal does well to stop a single in the covers. Duminy brings up the 50 partnership with a quick single, Herath throws it wide of the stumps. 8 runs from the over, another good one for South Africa.
Over 13 SA 71/1 (Amla 43, Duminy 19) - Good running between the wickets, Amla keeps the scoreboard ticking with a single. Just three from the Herath over.
50: Over 14 SA 82/1 (Amla 54, Duminy 21) - Perera continues, gives Amla some width and Amla drives it perfectly through the covers for four. He is in good form and this ball was just too easy for him. Short and wide from Perera and Amla puts it away for another four, that brings up his 50. Amla just pushes it to deep square leg, runs the first one hard and makes the second one with ease. Amal shuffles across his stumps and angles it into the leg side for a single. Duminy plays it straight down the ground for a couple of runs, 13 from the over.
Over 15 SA 88/1 (Amla 56, Duminy 23) - Dilshan comes into the attack, Amla takes a single and then Duminy takes a single. Amla works it through the leg side for another single, no spin in this pitch so far. Another single to Duminy, this time straight down the ground. Four singles from the over.
Power Play: Over 16 SA 92/1 (Amla 58, Duminy 25) - Herath comes into the attack and the power play has been taken. Good attacking move from South Afria, Duminy and Amla are well settled at the crease. Amla plays and misses, then takes a single down to long off. Four from the first over of the power play.
Power Play: Over 17 SA 95/1 (Amla 60, Duminy 26) - Mendis starts the second over of the power play, Amla works him for a single. Then Duminy picks up 2 runs to deep square leg. Three from the over, SA 95 for 1 after 17.
100: Over 18 SA 104/1 (Amla 67, Duminy 28) - Four over throws, and a single, so five in total and it goes through three fielders who were backing up. Poor cricket from Sri Lanka giving Amla 5 more runs. Amla drives it through midwicket for a couple more runs, good shot again, perfectly placed between two fielders. Another single down the ground. After 18 overs, SA are 104 for 1 and it will be drinks.
Power Play: Over 19 SA 108/1 (Amla 70, Duminy 29) - Amla starts after the drinks with a single down the ground. Worked away on the leg side for a single. Then Amla works it on the leg side from the middle stumps for another single. The South Africans have not changed their plans in the power play, just chipping in with singles and the odd boundary.
Power Play: Over 20 SA 110/1 (Amla 71, Duminy 30) - Last over of the power play, a single to Duminy and then to Amla, the power play ends with 21 runs being scored in it and no wickets lost.
Over 21 SA 116/1 (Amla 76, Duminy 31) - Dilshan continues, Amla takes single on the leg side. Duminy gets it through the off side for another single. Amla dances down the pitch and covers the line of the ball and hits it straight down the ground for four, good shot. Six runs from the over, SA are 116 for 1 after 21.
Over 22 SA 118/1 (Amla 77, Duminy 32) - Duminy gets a single down the ground, bringing up the 100 run partnership. Amla hits it straight down the ground and Herath stops it. Amla looking to attack with the drive, but gets it to the fielder. The spinners are pulling it back for Sri Lanka, and Amla and Duminy are feeling the pressure. Just two from the over.
Wicket: Over 23 SA 122/2 (de Villiers 2, Duminy 34) - Amla is hit on the pads, and reviews it. The pressure was building and the umpire gives it out lbw, Dilshan the bowler and Amla is given out. Amla out lbw, and South Africa lose their review. AD de Villiers takes a single down the ground to get off the mark. Duminy takes a single, to bring the captain back on strike. AB hits it in the leg side for a single. End of a successful over, SA are 122 for 2 after 23 overs.
Over 24 SA 126/2 (de Villiers 4, Duminy 36) - Herath continues and Duminy takes a single down the ground. Another single to AB to long on. Three singles from four balls, another single for AB. Four from the over.
Wicket: Over 25 SA 127/3 (du Plessis 1, Duminy 36) - South Africa are going at a good rate, they will be hoping for another partnership here. WICKET! AB shuffles across his crease and tries to get the ball to fine leg and Sanga takes a good catch on the leg side, Dilshan picks up his second wicket. Faf walks out in the middle and needs a good score to cement his place in the side. A single to Faf down the ground. After 25 overs, SA 127 for 3.
Over 26 SA 131/3 (du Plessis 2, Duminy 39) - Herath will try to keep the runs to a minimum, Sri Lanka building pressure now. Duminy works it down to fine leg for a couple. The par score is around 250 to 260 on this pitch. 26 overs gone, SA 131 for 3.
Over 27 SA 132/3 (du Plessis 2, Duminy 40) - South Africa have to maintain this scoring rate of 5 per over to get to 250 or 260. Duminy starts the over with a single. A few dots blocked by Faf, just a single from the over.
Over 28 SA 132/3 (du Plessis 2, Duminy 40) - Mathews comes back into the attack and Duminy hitting it straight to fielders. The runs have dried up. Mathews begins the new spell with a maiden.
Over 29 SA 136/3 (du Plessis 4, Duminy 42) - Dilshan continues, Faf takes a single and then Duminy takes a single. 45 balls since the last boundary, just four singles from the over. South Africa 136 for 3.
Over 30 SA 138/3 (du Plessis 5, Duminy 43) - A single to Duminy, Mathews continues he is in his 6th over now. Good call from Duminy, Faf runs hard to get to the other end. A couple of singles from the over.
Over 31 SA 145/3 (du Plessis 7, Duminy 48) - Faf plays it to fine leg and runs for a single. A welcome boundary for SA, Duminy sweeps it down to the fine leg boundary. Another single, Duminy rotates the strike. Good over for SA, a boundary after 58 balls.
Over 32 SA 152/3 (du Plessis 13, Duminy 49) - Faf hits it straight down the ground for four, Mathews bowls it across the seam and Faf lofts it down the ground. A single for Faf, down the ground. Dropped, Mathews drops Faf, it was hit straight back to the bowler and an easy catch dropped. Seven from the over, Faf gets a life.
50: Over 33 SA 159/3 (du Plessis 15, Duminy 50) - Dilshan continues and shouts for lbw, but the ball was going down leg. Faf gets a single to square leg. Duminy brings up his 50, well played innings. Faf takes another single. Sharp turn for Dilshan and it misses Sanga and the batsman and runs down to third man. A single to end the over, seven from this over, SA building some momentum now.
Over 34 SA 161/3 (du Plessis 19, Duminy 51) - Mathews brings Malinga back, another important time in the match. Faf hits him straight down the ground for a run. Malinga looking to bowl full and straight. Another single, this time Duminy gets it to long off. A quick bouncer from Malinga, Faf ducks and lets it go. Two runs to deep square leg to end the over.
Over 35 SA 166/3 (du Plessis 21, Duminy 52) - Herath comes back into the attack. A single to Duminy on the leg side. Three runs from the over, Herath has 1 more left.
Over 36 SA 171/3 (du Plessis 23, Duminy 55) - Malinga starts his 5th over. Duminy chops it wide of point for a single. Faf plays it to fine leg for a single. Duminy pulls it to the square leg boundary and only gets a single as the fielder does well on the rope. Faf gets a single to third man, from the slower ball. Duminy drives it down the ground for a single, and five runs from the over.
Wicket: Over 37 SA 173/4 (Miller 1, Duminy 56) - A good partnership building up for South Africa. A single to start after drinks. This pitch will slow down as the game progresses so a score of 260 will be good. An appeal for a stumping as Faf misses an offspinner, Sanga seems confident. It is very very close, and the third umpire gives it out, WICKET! good stumping but I don't think there was enough evidence there to give that out. Miller comes out to bat with Duminy, and starts with a single to end the over.
Wicket: Over 38 SA 174/6 (Peterson 1, Duminy 56) - Mendis into the attack, Mathews confident to bowl him against the new batsman. Miller on strike. WICKET! Mendis spins one into Miller and it goes through the gate and hits the stumps, Miller is bowled for 1. Farhaan Behardien comes out to bat. A lot of close in fielders, putting pressure on the new batsman. WICKET! Behardien clips it to short square leg, and is caught! Good catch and Mendis celebrates. South Africa in trouble now. Peterson walks out into the middle, another close in fielder. A play and a miss from Peterson. A single and two wickets from the over.
Over 39 SA 176/6 (Peterson 2, Duminy 57) - Dilshan comes back into the attack, three dots and then Peterson hits it to fine leg for a single. A single to Duminy, makes it two from the over a good one for Sri Lanka.
Over 40 SA 182/6 (Peterson 5, Duminy 60) - Mendis starts his 6th over. Duminy sweeps and gets two to fine leg. A single to fine leg again as Duminy sweeps. A full toss on the leg stump and Peterson pushes it through square leg for a couple of runs. A single to Peterson square of the wicket on the off side, and then Duminy plays it to short midwicket for no run. Six from the over, SA 182 for 6.
Over 41 SA 189/6 (Peterson 11, Duminy 61) - Ten overs to go and Dilshan into his last over. Peterson takes a single to bring Duminy on strike who also takes a single. Peterson drives it to midwicket for a couple of runs. Another couple of runs to Peterson this time through cover. Another single, making it 7 runs off 5 balls. SA 189 for 6 with 9 overs remaining.
Wicket: Over 42 SA 191/7 (Kleinveldt 0, Duminy 61) - Malinga brought back into the attack and he has 5 overs remaining. A short delivery and Peterson pulls it for a couple of runs. WICKET! Peterson gets a slight bottom edge on it and walks, the umpire was not sure but Peterson was out and walks off the field. Malinga gets a wicket from a slower bouncer, Sanga takes a good catch. Rory Kleinveldt is the new batsman. Malinga gets the yorker right and Rory digs it out to mid off for no run. A great over from Malinga, just two and the wicket from it.
200: Over 43 SA 200/7 (Kleinveldt 7, Duminy 63) - Mendis continues Duminy takes a single to bring Rory on strike, who pushes it to long on for a single. Duminy takes another single. Six, Kleinveldt pulls it over midwicket for a six, the fielder takes the catch but carries the ball over the ropes, that brings up the 200 for South Africa.
Wicket: Over 44 SA 204/8 (Morkel 0, Duminy 66) - Duminy takes a single and Rory on strike against Malinga. Rory takes a single and the umpire warns him to run on the field. Just a chat for now, but will be an official warning if he does it again. Duminy picks up a single to long off. Rory hits it high, getting a top edge and Malinga gets another wicket as the point fielder takes an easy catch. Morkel comes out to bat with a bit more than 6 overs to bat. Duminy takes a single to the sweeper on the off side. SA 204 for 8 after 44 overs.
Wicket: Over 45 SA 207/9 (Tsotsobe 2, Duminy 67) - Ajantha Mendis continues, bowling his 8th over now and Duminy takes a single. WICKET! South Africa lose their 9th, Morkel caught in front of the stumps and is given out lbw. Easy decision, Morkel caught on the stumps for a duck. Tsotsobe comes out to bat, Duminy at the other end. Tsotsobe edges it past the slips to third man for a couple of runs, Herath chases the ball down and stops a four. Tsotsobe survives, SA are 207 for 9.
Over 46 SA 214/9 (Tsotsobe 2, Duminy 74) - Duminy drives it to long off, but does not want to single, Malinga starts his 8th over. Maliinga brings the third man in and pushes the fine leg back. Driven to mid on for no run. Two runs, Duminy drives it past point and calls for two and gets there in the end, a chance of a catch for the point fielder but it was too difficult. Good shot, clever batting from Duminy, this time he gets a boundary from the leg side, sweeps the slower one from Malinga for four. A quick single and Tsotsobe will have to survive Malinga's last ball of this over, and he does. SA 214 for 9.
Over 47 SA 222/9 (Tsotsobe 3, Duminy 81) - Mendis will bowl the 47th over, Malinga and Mendis the death bowlers. Duminy takes a single, hits it over midwicket's head, Tsotsobe has the strike. A play and a miss from Tsotsobe after dancing down the wicket. He finally gets a single on the leg side, Duminy has two balls left in the over. Six, Duminy gets hold of this one, sweeps it over mid wicket and out of the ground for a six. A single from the last ball, Duminy will be on strike against Malinga.
Over 48 SA 232/9 (Tsotsobe 3, Duminy 91) - Malinga continues, Duminy swings and misses. A low full toss on the leg stumps and Duminy is quick to dispatch that to the deep midwicket boundary for four. Duminy hits it down the ground but does not take the single. Another play and a miss from Duminy who is on 86. Four, Duminy gets a boundary from the fifth ball, another four to midwicket, great shot again. And he is given an easy single from the last ball, 9 from the over.
Wicket: Over 48.4 SA 238/10 (Tsotsobe 3, Duminy 97) - 2 overs to go, Mendis to bowl the 49th. Duminy does not take the single. Six a big one from Duminy, Mendis pitches it up and Duminy hits him down the ground for a six, great shot. WICKET! Duminy is bowled for 97 disappointing end to a good innings from him. He kept his calm and took South Africa to 238, wickets falling around him. South Africa all out for 238 after 48.4 overs.
Over 1 SL 4/0 (Jayawardene 2, Dilshan 1) - Mahela to open the batting instead of Tharanga. Dilshan starts with a single, Mahela edges it through second slip for a couple of runs to third man. A wide down leg for Morkel, he needs to be disciplined today. End of the first over, a nervy start for Mahela. SL 4 for no loss.
Over 2 SL 12/0 (Jayawardene 2, Dilshan 8) - Tsotsobe starts with a no ball, free hit coming up, Dilshan on strike. Dilshan gets a boundary, pulls it through midwicket for four. A couple of runs to Dilshan, flicks it on the off side, almost a chance of a lbw. A good over for Sri Lanka, 12 for no loss after 2 overs.
Over 3 SL 15/0 (Jayawardene 2, Dilshan 8) - Morkel continues, South Africa need an early wicket. Morkel bowls a wide. A shout for lbw, but height was an issue. Dilshan survives, replays show it was going down leg too. Another wide called, Morkel strays down leg. Morkel bowls a slower off cutter. A wide outside off now, this is poor use of the new ball. Three from the over, three wides.
Over 4 SL 16/0 (Jayawardene 3, Dilshan 8) - A single from the third ball as Mahela slices it away from slip to third man. Just a single from the over, a much better over from Tsotsobe.
Over 5 SL 16/0 (Jayawardene 3, Dilshan 8) - Morkel continues, South Africa still looking for their first wicket. A shout for caught behind, Morkel appeals as the ball goes down leg and de Kock does well to catch it. Mahela is disappointed that it was not given a wide. Another play and a miss from Mahela, a wild slash outside off. A maiden from Morkel.
Over 6 SL 19/0 (Jayawardene 3, Dilshan 11) - Dilshan pulls past Duminy for a couple of runs. Mahela cuts to Behardien at point for no run. The required rate is inching towards 5 per over now. Mahela drives but can't get it through Peterson at midwicket. After 6 overs, SL 19 for no loss.
Over 7 SL 30/0 (Jayawardene 3, Dilshan 19) - Morkel starts his 4th over. Tsotsobe stops it a fine leg, Dilshan pads it fine for a run, given leg byes. Mahela comes down the wicket, Morkel bowls the bouncer and Mahela misses. A quick single, de Kock does well to put pressure on the batsmen but his throw misses the stumps. Dilshan cuts it through point for a boundary, the fielder can't stop that and it races to the ropes. A wide down leg from Morkel. Good work from Peterson at third man but can't stop stop the boundary. Big over for Sri Lanka, 11 runs from it.
Over 8 SL 36/0 (Jayawardene 8, Dilshan 20) - Mahela pulls to the square leg boundary and Morkel does well to keep it down to a single. A good over from Tsotsobe just a couple of runs so far, Mahela spoils it with a boundary of the last ball. Mahela clears his front foot and hits it through midwicket for four.
Over 9 SL 40/0 (Jayawardene 8, Dilshan 24) - Kleinveldt into the attack. Dilshan digs out the yorker and then plays and misses outside the off stump. Dilshan pulls it to the deep square leg boundary for four, a couple of quiet balls and Sri Lanka on the attack again. Just the boundary from the over, SL 40 for no loss after 9 overs.
Wicket: Over 10 SL 45/1 (Sangakkara 0, Dilshan 24) - Sri Lanka will be pleased with this start, they have not lost any wickets. Tsotsobe is hit straight down the ground for four from Mahela, not a bad delivery, just a great shot from Mahela. A short ball and called a wide for height. WICKET! Mahela tries to edge it through to third man but Amla takes a great catch. Sri Lanka 45 for 1. Sanga replaces Mahela. After 10 overs, SL 45 for 1.
Over 11 SL 47/1 (Sangakkara 1, Dilshan 25) - Kleinveldt continues, Dilshan swings and misses. A single to Dilshan, playing it square of the wicket. Sanga is hit on the pads, but the ball was pitching outside leg. Sanga gets off the mark
50: Over 12 SL 54/1 (Sangakkara 3, Dilshan 30) - Peterson comes into the attack and Dilshan pulls a short ball from him to the square leg boundary. SL bring their 50 up in style. 7 runs from the over, SL 54 for 1 after 12.
Over 13 SL 57/1 (Sangakkara 6, Dilshan 30) - Kleinveldt bowls it just outside off at good length, Sanga edges it to Amla's left and Amla dives but can't hold on to that. Sanga plays it to the sweeper on the off side for a single. Good over for South Africa, three from it.
Over 14 SL 59/1 (Sangakkara 7, Dilshan 31) - A couple runs for Sri Lanka, and they are 59 for 1 after 14 over.
Over 15 SL 61/1 (Sangakkara 7, Dilshan 32) - Kleinveldt to continue, the required rate is over 5 now. Kleinveldt is bowling well, just keeping it simple and wicket to wicket. Good backing up from Morkel, stopping the over throws. A single to Dilshan, running it down to third man. Just two singles from the over, SL 61 for 1 after 15.
Over 16 SL 65/1 (Sangakkara 11, Dilshan 33) - Peterson continues and Sanga gets it through short midwicket for a single. Dilshan blocks a few and then takes a single square of the wicket. The throw was wild, Dilshan was stuck at the non strikers end and Sanga was half way down the pitch. A chance of a run out, and they get 2 over throws.
Over 17 SL 69/1 (Sangakkara 11, Dilshan 37) - After drinks, Kleinveldt continues. Dilshan nudges it down to third man, it runs fine and goes for a boundary. Dilshan just waited on his back foot and opens the face of the bat. Just the boundary from the over.
Over 18 SL 73/1 (Sangakkara 13, Dilshan 39) - Peterson continues, Sanga hits a couple straight back to the bowler. Sanga gets it through short midwicket for a single. A quick single and they get there in the end, Duminy's throw was slightly wide and that is enough for Dilshan to get home safely. Another quick single, SL 73 for 1 after 18.
Over 19 SL 74/1 (Sangakkara 13, Dilshan 40) - Duminy comes into the attack, and a chance of a run out, Dilshan was called for a run and then sent back. The throw hits Dilshan but he was not changing the direction in which he ran so he is fine. Just a single from the over.
Over 20 SL 81/1 (Sangakkara 19, Dilshan 41) - The run rate required is above 5.3 now. Peterson continues, SL need 165 to win from here. Dilshan works it through the covers for a single. Sanga goes for the pull and misses it completely. Four, this time he gets hold of it and it is four runs, releasing the pressure, pulled over square leg. Sanga sweeps to fine leg for a couple of runs.
Over 21 SL 84/1 (Sangakkara 20, Dilshan 43) - Duminy continues and Dilshan gets a single. Sanga takes a single and Dilshan misses the cut shot. Just a single to end the over, making it three from the over, Duminy bowling well and containing the run flow.
