Former Lions head coach Geoffrey Toyana sees nothing but a successful two-year reign for Proteas limited overs captain Temba Bavuma.

Bavuma is one of Toyana’s most successful mentees from a stellar Lions class that graduated to become Proteas internationals during his time in charge of the Johannesburg outfit.

Last week, Cricket South Africa (CSA) named the 30-year-old as T20 and One Day International captain, as well as vice-captain to Dean Elgar in the red ball arena.
