Before the end of this week, sports minister Nathi Mthethwa will meet with Cricket South Africa's (CSA) acting president Rihan Richards and the organisation's members' council, hopefully to secure a commitment from those currently tasked with running the game that significant, much-needed change is on the near horizon.
The members' council, made up of South African cricket's 14 provincial presidents, has up until now commanded a majority presence on a CSA board that is currently sidelined by Mthethwa.
