Proteas fast bowler Shabnim Ismail made history last month by becoming the first South African to win a Player of the Match award in a Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) final.
Ismail's 2 for 12 helped propel Sydney Thunder to a seven-wicket win over Melbourne Stars in the final of the tournament at the North Sydney Oval.
The Women's Big Bash League, which began in late October, was Ismail's first competitive cricket since March.
