Cape Town - Adventurer and motivational speaker Mike Horn will again help the Proteas with the mental aspect of their game as they prepare for the ICC Champions Trophy in England in June.

According to Die Burger's website, Horn will assist the Proteas at a week-long training camp in the Netherlands at the end of this month.

Horn helped the Proteas last year when they prepared for a Test series in England. He took them to the Swiss Alps where they spent their time in the surroundings of the quaint village of Chateux-d’Oex. They concentrated on various aspects of their physical and mental strengths.

South Africa then went on to defeat England in the Test series and also took the No 1 ranking from their opponents. It is still unsure what excursions daredevil Horn will take the team on this time.

The Proteas face the Netherlands in a warm-up game in Amstelveen on May 31, and also clash with Pakistan at the Oval in London on June 3.

Their first game in the tournament is against India at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on June 6.

This year's edition will be the final version of the ICC Champions Trophy. South Africa won the very first one, in 1998, which remains the Proteas' only noteworthy limited overs title.
