PCB CEO Wasim Khan reveals Proteas will tour Pakistan in January

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) CEO Wasim Khan has said that the Proteas will tour the Asian country for a series in January.

Kahn gave no further details but also stated that Pakistan will visit South Africa in March next year for a limited overs series.

Pakistan were originally scheduled to tour South Africa in October that limited-overs series has been pushed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"South Africa will tour Pakistan in January 2021 and we are hoping to reciprocate by touring South Africa for a limited-overs series in March," Khan said.

Pakistan are preparing for a visit Zimbabwe next month, who will three T20s and three ODIs against the hosts.

The series will take place in a bio-secure bubble after the Zimbabwe government gave the go-ahead for their their national players to leave the country.

Khan is hoping the visit of the African country will see more teams coming to play cricket in Pakistan.

The PCB CEO added: "Hopefully, more cricket teams will come to the country. The visit of Zimbabwe to Pakistan is welcome."
