Despite suffering their first defeat of the SA20, MI Cape Town wicketkeeper Grant Roelofsen says there are positives to take out their clash against Durban's Super Giants.

Super Giants won the match at Newlands on Friday night at a canter by 5 wickets and with 21 balls to spare.

Speaking to the media after the match, Roelofsen said that both Olly Stone (4/28 in 3.3 overs) and George Linde (1/20 in 3 overs) excelled with the ball, despite the fact that the Newlands pitch was easier to bat on under lights.

"There are always positives to take out of it [the defeat]," Roelofsen said.

|I think the way Olly [Stone] bowled was excellent, the way George [Linde] bowled, the way we finished in the last couple of overs, and the way we fielded was good.

"We showed some good fight towards the back end despite not having enough runs on the board," Roelofsen added.

MI Cape Town are back in action at Newlands on Saturday when they take on the Joburg Super Kings at 17:30.
