SA golfer Jbé Kruger tests positive for Covid-19

South African golfer Jbé Kruger has withdrawn from this week's Scottish Championship after he tested positive for Covid-19.

Although Kruger showed no symptoms, his test results came back positive after he and all other golfers in the event were tested on their arrival at St Andrews on Monday. 

The 34 year old along, with his wife must now spend 10 days in self-isolation in Scotland but will receive the full support of the European Tour's medical team.

Kruger finished tied for 84th place in the Irish Open, his last competitive event at the end of September.
