Women's golf will take centre stage this week with the Women's Open Championship at the famed Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland teeing off on Thursday.

This will be the first women's open at Royal Troon which, remarkably, only four years ago opened its doors to women to join as members. 

This is the next historic step.
