Cape Town - South African golfer Justin Harding has failed to obtain his PGA Tour card following the conclusion of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship.

Harding posted a score of 5-over par to miss the cut at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in Indiana.

The missed cut saw the 33-year-old finish 26th in the Finals 25, just 0.125 points behind American duo D.J. Trahan and Richy Werenski who tied for 24th.

The Korn Ferry Tour awarded the first set of 25 PGA Tour cards for the 2019/20 season.

Harding would've finished 24th in the standings had American Lanto Griffin not made a birdie on the 72nd hole on Monday.

Harding, who is ranked 53rd in the world rankings, won his maiden European Tour title at the Qatar Masters in March.

The South African still has his European Tour card and is currently 14th in the Race to Dubai standings.

Harding will be hoping to impress International captain Ernie Els in the remaining months leading up to the Presidents Cup.

Els hinted at the possibility of selecting Harding with one of his four captain's picks which he will reveal on November 4.
