South African golfer MJ Daffue made a huge statement in his major debut at this month's US Open at The Country Club in Brookline.

Daffue finished tied for first place at the US Open qualifiers at Springfield Country Club in Ohio. It was his 13th time Monday qualifying for the US Open and he finally made his Major debut in Massachusetts.

For Daffue, it was just another tournament as he embarks on the groundbreaking year of his career.
